CRM Security Role Setup

I'm in the process of integrating our website to the accelerator and having some difficulties in getting security work properly without using the system administrator role. I created a new role called "customer service portal" based upon the customer service representative role and attempted to add specific security to limit access for this role. No matter what I do, the role causes an error.  Can you provide some more specific documentation or even a screenshot of appropriate role setup.

OK, I figured it out. Needed read access to Entity on customization tab.
