Customer Registration Account ?

Is it possible to give the customer the portal link and with some customizatiions of the Portal to make him do something like a registration to open a new account without having the need for the CRM 4.0 user to send him the link and an invitation?


and also can i add the note with attachments attribute in the contact us info?
