Edit Case Link broken when using secure connection

When signed in and trying to open an existing case on the portal the link to edit the case is broken; appending an :80 after the domain name.  This error only occurs when using https for the portal.

I am having the same issue with the port appending - did you find a solution to this problem?

This bug was fixed in CRM SDK 4.0.14 or later.  You have to update your portal references with the current SDK assemblies, specifically the Microsoft.Xrm.Portal assembly to resolve this problem.

I'm a sysadmin, not a dev. Is there an article that shows how to do this in Vis Studio? I've copied the dll's and tried to change the references via the browse function, but have a mismatch error now. Sorry for my ignorance.
