cannot generate invitation code

I installed customer portal with AD authentication and it seems to run OK.

I followed the instruction line by line from shan's blog.

When I try to generate an invitation code, nothing happens, so the workflow won't run and I can't send email invitation and finally can't log on to portal.

I'm able to log to the portal using AD users.

Is the plugin not working ?

If you are using AD authentication, you do not need to use the invitation code mechanism.  Simply create a contact and put the domain\username in the username field.  The invitation code mechanism is only needed for Live ID because we only get a token back from Live ID and have no other mechanism to identify who that Live Id user is, unless we use an invitation code that passes through the authentication process.
