Portal not displaying record changes made from CRM2011.

Good day.

I have been following this project for a while but never really got up-to actually getting my hands dirty, until now. I can't wipe them now.

I can managed to successfully register and configure the portal to and extent that I can invite contacts to use it. I am focused on the Case Management Module. The contact is able to  log into the server, log, edit and close a case,

The issue is when a contact logs a case and the service desk team edit the case by adding a comment, description or change the cases Topic all the changes do not reflect on the Customer Portal.  Is there and additional access privilege that I must add past the Case Access Permissions connection?

First thing - the codeplex project is only for the CRM 4 version of the portal.  If you are using the portal with CRM 2011, please post your questions to this forum: http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/fi/crmlabs/threads

The likely issue is that the portal cache is not getting invalidated when the CRM data is changing.  For the CRM 2011 version of the portals, there is a plugin that is registered that will notify the portal cache of changes in the case, allowing the portal to get fresh data and show the customer the latest case notes.  You need to configure the web notification urls (located under settings | Extensions)

Go to CRM

Then settings-->Web notification URL( Under Extension)

Click new

Name: any name
URL: Your customer portal URL( EX: http://ideoc01crm01:8022/Cache.axd)
URL should be end with cache.axd as above.

Now save this setting and try with adding comment. now it's should work.

The problem is customer portal maintain the cache, we need clear the cache .
